「Soilstory」

bacilli <JAPAN\>

Photo:Keizo Kioku

This installation created with items obtained in the “Great Clearance” utilized as “things/evidence” evolved from research into the “Aenokoto” (banquet ritual) and conversations with residents about their memories of soil. Two hybrid performances based on the concept “festival” of people and things occurred amidst the pandemic where the artists embodied the spirits of “ae”through stories of shared hope.
